Andrea Pinamonti and Stefano Sensi have performed well since leaving Inter on loan in June and January, respectively. The Nerazzurri are keeping an eye on them to see if they have the potential to be part of the future squad. According to Calciomercato.com, the midfielder has a greater chance of staying put next summer.

Andrea Pinamonti

At Empoli, the 22-year-old striker is having a career year. He’s on his way to scoring double digits. In the previous campaign, however, he struggled in a reserve position under Antonio Conte. Empoli will most likely rely on more experienced strikers in 2022-2023.

Inter are interested in Davide Frattesi and Gianluca Scamacca, and Pinamonti may be a useful bargaining chip for Sassuolo, who were connected with a Sensi reunion in January. Torino is also interested in signing the young striker.

Stefano Sensi

The 26-year-old midfielder made his Sampdoria debut with a goal and has since been impressive. Marco Giampaolo’s style is a good fit for him. He has a chance to be called up to the Italy squad for the World Cup playoffs. He has remained relatively healthy, which was his biggest concern before to the transfer.

If that continues to be the case, Sensi, unlike Pinamonti, he could stay at Inter to provide depth. In the summer, the Nerazzurri’s backup midfield positions will undergo significant changes. Matias Vecino’s contract is up for renewal, while Arturo Vidal’s future is uncertain.

Sebastiano Esposito

Calciomercato also reports the possibility of Esposito, Dalbert and Vanheusden who have also been loaned out for a few seasons. Esposito has experienced a year of the explosion on loan in Basel. Four goals and four assists for the young striker in 13 matches is a good start and has caught the attention of Inter. Despite the low possibility of rejoining Inter next summer, Esposito has a point to prove – do not write him off just yet.

Lucien Agoumé

Honorable mention Lucien Agoumé in the French League. The Cameroonian midfielder is on loan at Brest and has 23 appearances in the season between Ligue 1 and the French Cup. He will return to Milan and will be evaluated by Inzaghi during the preseason, but a further loan is not excluded. His goal is: “To return to Inter to play for them”.

Dalbert and Vanheusden

Both Dalbert and Vanheusden are on loan in Serie A with Cagliari and Genoa respectively. Dalbert has been a constant starter for Cagliari this season with 21 matches in Serie A. The Brazilian full-back has only 1 assist this season so far. While Vanheusden has only appeared 14 matches for Genoa with two yellow cards. We could see the possibility of Vanheusden returning to Inter next season to give depth in the defensive department. As for Dalbert, his future at Inter seems to be over.
