Gianluca Scamacca to Inter is almost a done deal

Gianluca Scamacca is very close to joining Inter Milan, according to Gianluca Di Marzio. The club decided that the Italian international is the best current option in the market. The deal is almost done and Inter wants to close in the next hours. The club is in contact with West Ham to determine the final details of the operation.

Earlier this evening Inter’s first offer arrived. It was around €22 million plus bonuses. The English side rejected it, wanting close to €30 million. According to the report the deal should soon be closed at €25 million plus reachable bonuses.

Inter wasn’t the only Italian side interested in Gianluca Scamacca. Roma was following the forward in the last months, considering the injury of Tammy Abraham. However, the Gialorosi were only able to offer a loan plus obligation to buy, in case the striker makes certain performances and the team qualifies for the Champions League. West Ham didn’t like these conditions. Inter, on the other hand, can propose a fixed deal to buy Scamacca right away. That will turn out to be decisive for the deal to come through.

There were reports that Inter is also interested in Beto and Balogun, but it seems for now these operations are put on hold. However, if Correa is sold, the club will probably have to once again look for a new striker.
