Alexis Sanchez back in, Joaquin Correa leaves for Marseille

The arrivals and medical tests for the two players in the swap with Olympique de Marseille occur tomorrow.

In what is essentially a swap of strikers between Inter and Olympique de Marseille, Joaquin Correa will be leaving the Nerazzurri while Alexis Sanchez is returning.

As reported by Sky, the last details for the transfer of Joaquin Correa to Marseille are getting worked out. Correa’s agent Alessandro Lucci closed the deal with the French club and the medical visits are scheduled for tomorrow. The deal is confirmed as 2 million euros on loan and another 12 million in the event of a redemption. This would become mandatory if Marseille qualifies for the next UEFA Champions League.

After spending a year with the same Marseille club that Correa is leaving for, Alexis Sanchez is now expected in Milan for medical examinations on Friday after agreeing to a short-term deal with the Nerazzurri. A year ago this month, Sanchez and Inter mutually agreed to terminate his contract after playing for the Nerazzurri from 2019 to 2022. He will sign that new short-term contract tomorrow.
