New San Siro Stadium, INTERnational games

Sticking with San Siro or building a new stadium? National games and more transfer news

AC Milan coach:

Luciano Spalletti is officially out of the run, after Marotta refused to pay him around 5-6 million.

Former Inter’s coach Stefano Pioli has officially signed a contract for AC Milan. He is the eight manager ever having coached both Inter and Milan in his career.

Pioli signed a 2 years deal, though Milan’s supporter are not really happy with the signing, and already launched a #Pioliout campaign on Twitter

New stadium:

Inter legend Mario Corso joined the “save San Siro” movement. In an interview today he suggested “Make San Siro a better stadium, don’t destroy it”.

Giovanni Galli, former Milan goalkeeper agrees with him, but acknowledges that teams need to do what’s best for them, even if that means to go over the legendary stadium.

The two clubs in fact are at this point almost certain that a new stadium is needed. The Giuseppe Meazza stadium is just too old, it wouldn’t be worth the money trying to fix it. The best solution is probably to build a new, modern stadium in the San Siro neighborhood

Once again, Gian Piero Gasperini talked today about his Inter experience. As he has already done in the past, he criticized Inter’s management.

He said that Inter destroyed his reputation and prevented him from getting attentions from European top clubs

Sensi injury update:

His injury might be milder than expected, he is almost certain to be back for Dortmund. With some luck the midfielder could get back as soon as the Sassuolo game

National games:

Barella and D’Ambrosio are probably going to start for Italy-Greece. Lazaro is almost a sure starter for Austria and so is Lukaku for Belgium

Transfer Rumors:

According to Bild, Thomas Muller has reportedly asked Bayern Munich to be sold, possibly already in the winter session.

Conte and Marotta both value the player very highly and might decide to make a move for the player

Another unsatisfied player is Barcelona midfielder, Ivan Rakitic, who has already been an Inter desire in the past.

If Barcelona decide that the player is on sell Marotta could go after him again.

Latest rumor is that Matic and Manchester United have gone to war, the player wants to leave as soon as possible.

Conte has always been a fan of Matic game, and this could be a really good opportunity to get the midfield reinforcement Inter really needs.

Marotta is also monitoring other top class midfielders as Conte desperately need a January reinforcement.

The most common names are still Arturo Vidal and Milinkovic-Savic, both really appreciated by Conte. Latest days alternatives are Ajax’s and Brescia’s young prodigies Van de Beek and Tonali.
