Inter have announced the signing of club legend Gabriele Oriali, who will take up the role as the first-team technical manager under Antonio Conte effective immediately. Inter confirmed the news this morning via their official website.
The 66-year-old has signed a contract that will keep him on Inter’s bench until 2022, whilst also enabling him to continue as Italy’s team manager until next summer, providing they qualify for Euro 2020.
Gabriele made almost 400 appearances for the Nerazzurri, and was also a member of Italy’s 1982 world cup triumph. He also began his reign under Conte as the manager of the Italian national team in 2014.
