Two current Inter players have made it into Opta’s Serie A team of 2018. As reported by gianlucadimarzio.com, the sports data company has released its Serie A “Top 11” for the calendar year, based on data collected over the last twelve months.
The list includes Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic and defender Stefan De Vrij. The Slovenian has been among the team’s best performers for years, meaning his selection doesn’t come as a surprise. The Dutch centreback, instead, is revealing himself to be Inter’s best summer buy, considering his ability and low price.
Opta also selected current Juventus rightback Joao Cancelo, who had played the first half of 2018 with Inter.
