According to Calciomercato, Inter are reportedly ready to offer loyal center back defender Andrea Ranocchia a new contract.
Inter want to extend his contract as a ‘reward’ for his loyalty and have offered him a one-year extension. However, the 31 year old is holding out for at least two years on top of his current deal, which expires this summer.
The Italian international has made 193 appearances for the Nerazzurri since arriving from Genoa in 2011, only five have come this season.
Recently, Ranocchia made a great impact coming off the bench against SPAL sending dangerous balls forward and solidifying the back. As a result, Inter went on to win 2-0 at the Meazza.
