Inter have reached an agreement with German outfit Hertha Berlin over the sale of Hector Lazaro. Fabrizio Romano reports that both parties have agreed a € 22 million fee plus add ons for the talented Right sided player.

The deal sees the German club break their record transfer fee sales wise, previously held by John Brooks, who signed for Wolfsburg for 18 million in 2017. Lazaro was an instrumental figure in helping the German capital side have a stable season and stay in the top flight, contributing an impressive 3 goals & 7 assists.

Lazaro arrives at Inter to slot in immediately to the RWB role in Antonio Conte’s preferred 3-5-2, ultimately confirming that Danilo D’ambrosio will be made to be Conte’s make shift, reserve fullback. A decision that makes a lot of sense considering the Italian’s versatility and overall contribution.

The announcement comes in the midst of Inter also looking to lock up deals for Nicola Barella, Eden Dzeko & Stefano Sensi in the coming week.
