Inter lost further ground in the title race with the loss against Juventus. While there were very few moments of delight, Inter struggled pretty much throughout.

Paolo Di Canio mentioned Christian Eriksen’s situation while talking to Sky Sports Italia. “With Eriksen at Tottenham, he had the chance to lose dangerous balls because there were those who ran for him, at Inter they can’t afford to do that. He doesn’t jump the opponent in one-on-one fights, he doesn’t have speed in his legs.”

“Eriksen could become a problem for Conte,” he added.

While Paolo Di Canio questioned Eriksen’s suitability for Conte’s system. Fabio Capello, a well-decorated manager said: “I think he can do well as a regista, like Andrea Pirlo at Juventus. He does not have the speed to be a box-to-box player.”

Capello also added, “I am happy for him, though Christian needs time and just needs to work on his physical condition and find the brilliance of his best moments from Tottenham.”

In his first eight appearances for Inter, the Danish international has started in just three games, scoring once and adding one assist.
