Inter lost the match at the crowd less Allianz stadium in Turin, where Juventus claimed the bragging rights. A closed-door event due to the spread of Coronavirus felt extremely bizarre to watch.
Coach Antonio Conte said this after the game:
“We were in control of the situation and we were the better side at the start. The match was extremely balanced up until the opening goal. Ramsey’s goal changed the whole feel to the game. We didn’t do well at bouncing back and reacting after the goal.”
“Results like this must not throw us off, but rather help us understand what is needed to reach the level of our opponents.”
“We cannot compare ourselves to a structure that has been consolidated over a number of years.”
“I hope that the most appropriate decisions will be made in order to protect the entire population, there are bodies who are responsible for this and we have faith in them.”

While this defeat could very well be the final nail in the coffin towards Inter’s dream run for the title, there’s a bigger and much larger growing fear that the officials might cancel the league entirely due to COVID-19 as it continues to spread.
