Stefano Sensi is doubtful for Sassuolo clash, medical tests completed today on Inter midfielder Sensi show that he has re-aggravated the injury picked up in the first half of the Derby D’Italia.
The Italian has been hugely influential in all of Inter’s game this season. His exclusion from the game will add to the already loaded injury list at the club. D’Ambrosio, Sanchez & Sensi are all unavailable.
Sensi had some slight discomfort in his right thigh after yesterdays training session. MRI scans today have confirmed a recurrence of the injury. The club will continue to evaluate his condition over the next 2 days.
Conte will look to one of Vecino or Gagliardini as a replacement for Sunday.
As it stands, Sensi is doubtful for the Sassuolo clash.
