According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Romelu Lukaku hasn’t given up of the idea to return to Inter. The Chelsea striker is pushing hard with constant contacts with managers and players in Inter. The report also confirms that Lukaku is willing to have his salary significantly reduced to facilitate the move. Inter board considers the move possible but very difficult. It is important for Chelsea to be sold first and only after that the clubs can try to reach an agreement on a possible loan.
The Belgian striker is still struggling to find his best form at Chelsea. Lukaku has started just 12 games this season and scored only 5 goals. Considering the World Cup is in taking place this winter, the forward will hope to have more playing minutes and find his best condition again. Earlier this season Lukaku expressed his desire to come back to Inter one day. Maybe this day can come sooner than expected if the right formula can be found.
