Inter defeat Roma 3-1 at the San Siro.

Inter have again proved to the world why they are champions with a stunning win over Roma. Brozovic, Vecino and Lukaku all grabbing goals.

You can still see how important these fixtures are to the squad. Especially with Conte and Lautaro going at each other just proves the passion is still there.

With only two matches remaining in the season, it’s almost a time to reflect on what a fantastic season it’s been so far.

There is still the return fixture against Juventus, and then the last match against Udinese. The celebrations may have started early, but this Inter side is not done yet!

A victory on the last matchday against Udinese will mean that Inter has beaten each of other 19 Serie A teams at least once this season. An absolutely incredible feat if it comes true!

Let’s look a bit further at the win over Roma.

Maybe Capitano should stay –

We saw Radu’s first start from the opening whistle for Inter. Although Radu wasn’t impressive, I’m sure he will remember this match for the rest of his life.

To have Radu as the backup keeper just shows how important Handanovic is to this Inter side. Without a fantastic keeper being signed in the next transfer window, we will need to keep hold of Handanovic.

Even though Samir hasn’t looked himself for many parts of the year, he is still the best option we have moving forward.

Mighty Rom –

How brilliant is this player we have named Romelu Lukaku!

Game after game he gives his absolute all and it’s a pleasure to watch. Big Rom has been Inter’s best player this year as he added another goal and assist to his already massive tally.

Romelu’s hold up play is one of the best in Europe, if not the world. His fantastic touch, which has been unjustly doubted by haters, has been one of his strongest skills this year.

Thank you Lukaku for bringing us the title and being one of the most humble team players we have ever seen wear this Inter jersey.

Looking strong!

As mentioned earlier, we still have two matches remaining but it’s hard not to look at next season.

With so much potential in 2021/22, we should be aiming high in Europe and a Scudetto repeat.

The likes of Bastoni, De Vrij, Skriniar, Hakimi, Lukaku, Lautaro, Brozovic, Barella, Eriksen and Darmian were all improving as the year went on so it’s hard not to get excited.

We have a super squad at the moment, so a couple of key additions in the winter window will be just what Mr Conte ordered!

Where to next?

Juventus away. Is there anything more which needs to be said?

Prediction: Inter 2-1

As always, Forza Inter!
