Inter left their fans in despair once again after plummeting out of Europe's premier competition yesterday. The 1-1 draw with Dutch Champions PSV Eindhoven wasn't enough to secure qualification and consequently landed Inter in the Europa League. Tuttosport has gone on to report the detrimental effect of Financial Fair Play on Inter this season.

Anthony from Inter Worldwide was able to give us his thoughts following the poor result against PSV which ultimately lands Inter out of the UEFA Champions...

Following Inter’s 1-1 draw with PSV, Borja Valero had this to say to Sky Sport: “There is bitterness and disappointment. We started well with intensity and chances on goal, however, we were then caught up in a bit of a frenzy. We got back into the game bit by but in the end, it wasn’t enough."

Having provided the assist for Mauro Icardi’s equaliser, Matteo Politano has since had this to say after Inter’s 1-1 draw with PSV: “There is a lot of disappointment, especially after the first half when we committed too many errors. We grew a lot after the interval and created many goalscoring chances. After Icardi’s goal, we should’ve kept pressing but we’d already given a lot."

According to Gazzetta dello Spor, Lionel Messi will start against Tottenham tonight. This means great news for Inter as it is a crucial game for the Nerazzurri's Champions League hopes.

"We are Inter and we’ll give our all tomorrow to get through the group, even if we’re aware that it doesn’t all depend on us," he started by saying."It will be an extremely important match, we want to go through but we know it won’t be easy. It’s normal that we always want the best, first of all, we want to make it through before focusing on the league until the end of 2018. We’re a strong team and we must always aim to go far, in all competitions."
