Inter has a plan to renew key players contracts in the following days.
Today, Italian transfer market specialist, Nicolo Schira published in his twitter account that Inter is working to complete the renewal of for key players contracts:
Marcelo Brozovic until 2026
Samir Handanovic until 2023
Ivan Perisic until 2024
Milan Skriniar until 2026
Perisic and Brozovic Renewals
The same pundit published yesterday in his account that talks are in progress to renew the Croatian let winger until 2024 and that the parts are working on a salary agreement.
In the same line, La Gazzetta dello Sport reported today that there was a meeting between Perisic’s entourage and Inter management. Ivan ‘the terrible’ is now open to the renewal of the contract which expires in June. The conversations are around the idea of a two-year extension for 4 million plus bonuses a year. Also Perisic hasn’t received any tempting offers in recent months.
We finally see the light at the end of the tunnel for the Marcelo Brozovic contract negotiations. Inter have reached an agreement with the Croatian international to renew until 2026 with bonuses that can exceed 7M Euros. After months of back and forth with Brozovic’s agent, Marotta and his team were able to satisfy both parties.
Handanovic and Skriniar Renewals
After the signing of Onana, Inter will look to keep the Slovenian goalkeeper until 2023 for rotation purposes. Samir Handanovic has been a loyal servant to Inter since 2012. In the summer, Cameroon’s Onana will join the Nerazzurri.
As for Milan Skriniar, the defender has not had any issues with Inter in terms of renewal talks. It is reported that the 27 year old will extend his contract until 2026 with an increased salary.
Searching for Depth and Stability
It has also been confirmed that Inter is close to reaching a deal for Scamacca and Fratessi of Sassuolo and Bremer of Torino who will be great additions for Inter. The management led by Giuseppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio are very close to reach their goal.
By ensuring the 2021 core Scudetto winning team is cemented in the squad, Inter can look to improve a few weak points in the squad with the additions of Scamacca, Fratessi and Bremer. Marotta and Ausilio have done an exceptional job by allowing Inter to remain a competitive team and at the same time reducing the wages of the entire squad.
