Andre Onana and his Cameroon earn third place by beating Burkina Faso after penalties. The future Inter Milan goalkeeper went from zero to hero in a rollercoaster of a game.

Burkina Faso started the game strongly. Helped along by a disastrous own goal by the Inter-bound goalkeeper, by minute 49′ Burkina Faso was leading by three goals to none. A massive Cameroon then picked itself up and tied the game with the last of three goals coming in the 85th minute.
Per rules the game had no overtime and went directly to Penalty shootouts, putting Onana in the spotlight. The first two penalties went in for both sides. Then, the Cameroon goalkeeper hypnotizes Blati Toure, making his save decisive. The shootout ends 5-3 making Cameroon third in the tournament.
It is important to consider the fact that Onana has not been playing regular matches in a long time due to a doping related ban. This is not something to worry about. The player stated he accidentally took a medicine which contained a banned substance.
Considering the recent mishaps by Handanovic, will Andre Onana take Handanpvic’s place and therefore be able to bring a solid improvement to Inter’s defence?
