The talks have been heating up since last week, but the reality is now here: Lazar Vujadin Samardžić is on his way from Udinese to join his newest club, Inter.
“It’s done,” as announced by DAZN on X (formerly Twitter) to confirm the transfer of the Serbian midfielder. “Samardzic will be a new Inter player,” assures the television broadcaster, who said the negotiation has concluded providing some basic details of the deal. Udinese will receive 15 million euros plus 20-year-old midfielder Giovanni Fabbian. However, as reported over the weekend, it is not yet confirmed whether the Nerazzurri will retain a buy back option for the Under-21 Italian national.
Last year, Fabbian spent the season on loan with Reggina, scoring 8 goals. The Berlin-born Samardžić spent the last two years with Udinese and has made two appearances with the Serbian national team.
