An important win for Inter against Frosinone thanks to goals by Nainggolan, Perisic and Vecino which was a much tougher match than expected. After the game, Luciano Spalletti spoke to the press:
“Frosinone put in a great performance, they had nothing to lose, so it was a difficult game. We were good at staying in the game and maintaining a certain maturity. We managed the ball possession well. The solidity of the defensive line gives us great advantage. However, the game had to be closed sooner. We need to be more convincing but we are like that.”
“The penalty? We have 3 or 4 players that are able to take a penalty so it is right that Perisic and Icardi have decided between themselves. It is a sign of professionalism and friendship.”
