A few weeks ago, Ausillio flew to England to monitor Manchester City midfielder İlkay Gündoğan who looks to be one of the main targets for the upcoming transfer window.
Gündoğan contract expires in 2020 and today Guardiola said that the German will not be renewing his contract. Inter want to take advantage of this and are ready to offer him a four-year contract worth 6 million per season (similar to what Godin will be earning).
Manchester City are asking for 25 million to sell him this summer but the price is negotiable since the player wants to try a new experience and his contract will be expiring in 12 months.
