Fit again after a lengthy spell on the sidelines, the 27-year-old has fallen well down the pecking order at Manchester City after a loan spell at Everton with the likes of Aymeric Laporte, John Stones, Vincent Kompany and Nicolas Otamendi all seeing more minutes.
With the Frenchman out of contract as early as June, Inter consider him to be the perfect replacement for Miranda as Manchester City have little to no plans for him.
