Lautaro “I really hope to become an Inter legend!”

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Lautaro Martinez wants to stay at Inter for the long haul and is very happy at the club.

This comes after the Argentine was instrumental in the victory over Fiorentina providing two goals and an assist. One of the best performances we’ve seen from Lautaro and fingers crossed this is a sign of things ahead.

Lautaro went on to speak further in the interview with Rai.

“I signed a new contract a year ago and I am thinking only about Inter.

“We have a lot of objectives ahead of us and we are hoping to continue on this path. We conceded three goals and we had to score four goals to win. It is a lot and the important thing was to win.

“Is the Scudetto an objective? No, because we dropped many important points and now, we have to think about recovering ground.”

The 25 year old striker has already scored 7 goals in 15 appearances across all competitions. He is almost on track to match his record last season of 25 goals in 49 appearances across all competitions.

I believe this is Lautaro’s breakout year and a 30+ goal season is on the horizon.
