A perfect way for Inter to get back to back victories over their opponents who looked outmatched from the first minute. A very strong Inter side getting the job done and moving into second place in the group.

Man of the Match!
As mentioned earlier, Brozovic was the absolute standout in the match today. If rival teams are looking to pounce on Brozovic’s contract situation, we need Inter’s management to sort this out ASAP.
Brozovic was Inter’s engine today and was at the center of everything positive for the Nerazzurri. His movement into space and passing ability is second to none, and this Inter side is a much better team with him in control.
Today, we saw Inter struggle to find the back of the net until Brozovic swooped in to save the day. A beautiful strike into the bottom corner providing the well deserved 1-0 advantage.
We would see Brozovic play the full 90 minutes, so hopefully he will have the same spark on the pitch against Milan in our next fixture.
Chances need to be taken –
I’ll start by saying that it was a very good performance from the team today. On another night, we may have played out a goalless draw as we’ve seen previously in the Champions League.
The first half had many chances which we should’ve scored, but the ball just didn’t go into the back of the net. Dzeko had multiple chances which I’m sure he’ll be disappointed that he didn’t convert into goals.
Fortunately in the second half we turned it around and we’re able to bang in 3 goals. An Inter team in the past may have even lost this match. Fortunately the end result was in our favour.
For Sanchez to come onto the field and straight away get a goal shows me that our squad is always ready. I mean in the sense that anyone we put on the pitch has the ability to change the outcome of the match.
I can see the confidence in the team improving game by game. As the year goes on, Inter are progressing under Inzaghi’s management. The massive test will be our next month of football, but I’m sure we are heading in the right direction.
Where to next?
The biggest match of the season is coming up for Inter. This will be a massive test facing the joint league leaders in AC Milan.
With the way that Inter has played lately, I can see a victory for us happening. However, it won’t be easy but the confidence being seen at the moment should hopefully get us over the line.
