Goals! Goals! Goals!: Lautaro and Sanchez

In the past few days Chile beat Bolivia 3-2 and Argentina beat Colombia 1-0. Out of the 6 goals scored in those two games, 50% were scored by Inter Milan players; 2 by Sanchez and 1 by Lautaro.

Sanchez

El Niño scored two beauties to help his national team bag three points. Playing as the experienced leader he is, Sanchez lead the team to victory. He netted an amazing goal from free kick and later on a powerful shot from inside the box. Alexis Sanchez then also hit the bar in injury time.

Lautaro

As of late it seems like El Toro has been playing incredibly for Argentina. While his goal might not have been as spectacular as his colleagues’, Lautaro’s effort was crucial against a such a tough opponent as Colombia. The Inter Milan forward was then subbed off in the 69th minute in favor of friend and rival Dybala.

Sanchez brace gives Inter 6 point gap.

With the two showing form in the past games, we can only wonder in what conditions they will arrive at the Derby. Whilst Sanchez was already showing an incredible form, Lautaro has been struggling of late. Could this goal have given him the right morale boost? Who will start in the Derby Della Madonnina?
