Marcelo Brozovic, Inter’s central midfielder who left the pitch on Sunday against Atalanta in the 20th minute has suffered a hamstring injury.
The Croatian has been primordial to Inter’s midfield for the last two seasons and could, according to SportMediaSet, miss the three next games, two of which are Roma and Juventus.
He will also miss next weekend’s fixture against Frosinone.
As things stand, Luciano Spalletti will count on the availability of Vecino, Gagliardini, Nainggolan, Joao Mario and Borja Valero in the center of the park. We will soon know what trio Inter’s head coach will rely on.
