After commenting on Inter‘s Europa League draw, Javier Zanetti went on to discuss the Icardi case during his interview with Sky Italia.
The following where his words on the Icardi situation:
“He continues to be an important player for us, I hope he will be so in the future. I think that when there are problems in the locker room, we need to confront each one of them together. Only this way can we make the group stronger and create the conditions to win. My reaction? I’m sorry for everything that has been created. I repeat: they are part of this group, they must clarify thinking for the good of the team. Nobody is more important than the club. We talked too much, I did not talk to Mauro. We need to leave some time to understand. They have to clarify, it’s a group matter. Then I have no problem talking to him, always putting the good of Inter first. ”
