According to Football-Italia.net, Ashley Young’s representatives are currently in Milan after agreeing with Inter’s board to an 18-months contract beginning from January.
Salary is expected to be €3m for this half-season and another €3m for the remaining 12 months.
Young is reportedly seeking a move to San Siro after rejecting a contract extension from Manchester United.
Ashley is a highly versatile and experienced wingback, capable of playing both in the right and left wing, so he can fit perfectly in Conte’s preferred 3-5-2 system.
It must be stated that Young is 34 years old and can be error-prone at times, but Mister Conte is known for turning under performing wingbacks into decent assets.
