Ashley Young spoke on the Golden Tale’s podcast and expressed his desire to return back to Watford one day.
During the podcast, Young said “If I could go back and play there [at Watford] again, I would walk from Italy right now because it’s what I know, it’s where I come from and it’s what allowed me to be who I am and get where I am”
Inter’s wing-back arrived in Milan last season and quickly cemented his position in Conte’s rotation. Young scored 4 goals for Inter last season and provided 4 vital assists as well.
The 35-year-old former Manchester United player began his professional career with Watford. He appeared in 110 matches before making the switch to Aston Villa.
Ashley Young is still a vital part of Inter’s team but his desire is to have a fairytale career ending with his former team.
