The Turkish international Calhanoglu was one of Inter’s best, as his goal and assist was crucial in Inter’s 3-2 win at home over Napoli.
Hakan spoke to Inter TV after the match, “I’m pleased because we knew it would be a tough game. They pressed very high early on but we did well in every area.
“We also played better than our opponents in the games that we didn’t win, so we’re thrilled today. I don’t mind if I score or get assists, what matters is that we never give up. Even in the final minutes when we were under pressure, we still fought as a team.
“I’m pleased about scoring the penalty. I know how to take them and am confident. As the coach said, what matters is that whoever takes it feels good.
“We now turn our attention to Shakhtar which is another very important match.”
All Inter players will hope for the much needed 3 points in the Champions League midweek match.
As always, Forza Inter!
