Arturo Vidal has not hidden his desire to join Flamengo in Brazil, and it may be possible if a mutual termination is agreed with Inter.
It would be benefit both the Chilean and the Nerazzurri. On one hand, Inter will save about €5.5mil per season, since Vidal is reportedly on about €9.5mil. On the other, Vidal will be free to go where he wants which we believe is in Brazil.
Unfortunately the Brazilian transfer window does not open until July 18th. So we may see Inter and Vidal part ways first, before we know exactly where his future lies.
Inter are looking to cut as many wages as possible and Vidal is on the list. So far, we’ve already seen the likes of Vecino, Ranocchia and Kolarov leave the club which provides a lot of positive balance to those Inter books.
Vidal has been fantastic since joining Inter back in 2020/21. Adding much needed depth to Inter’s squad, and allowing them to challenge in all competitions.
The Chilean with his most famous goal over his former employees Juventus, and this victory helped Inter go on a run to secure their 19th Scudetto. One to remember for a long time, that’s for sure!
