Matias Vecino has undergone successful surgery to his right knee. The midfielder had some issues with his meniscus.
The medical procedure was done in Barcelona where the player currently is. Professor Ramon Cugat, who has also operated on other injured players, helped Vecino fix his knee issue. The player will remain a few more days in Barcelona before undergoing a rehabilitation period. The club has not made clear when the player will be available again.
On his Instagram, the Uruguayan announces: ‘All is well and I hope to be back soon. Thank you for the many messages of support. Special thanks to Professor Cugat and all of his staff. Thanks again. Forza Inter.’
