Inter defender Stefan de Vrij will miss Sunday’s fixture against Torino. This was confirmed after he underwent diagnostic tests at the Humanitas Institute in Rozzano on Wednesday. The tests revealed the Dutch defender has sustained a calf (soleus) strain in his left leg. His condition will be evaluated in the coming week. The Duch had to be subbed off at half time versus Liverpool. Although the injury doesn’t seem to be serious, Inter will not rush his return. His place in defense will probably be taken by Danilo D’amrosio, who had a solid second half performance at Anfield. Today we are expecting news regardging the condition on Marcelo Brozovic. The midfielder also couldn’t finish the Champions League clash with an injury and is at risk for Sunday’s game.
