A few minutes ago, Sky Sports have given which at the moment is only a hypothesis of a possible exchange between Insigne and Icardi which although there are no negotiations in process, it shall not be excluded.
In fact, in the coming weeks Inter and Napoli will meet in order to discuss the possibility of a swap between Icardi and Insigne, which would solve both clubs the problems they are facing. This is because similar to Icardi, Insigne is not having the best of times at Napoli who has been a target of many criticisms and was even benched in Napoli’s last game against Atalanta which has fueled the rumors of him leaving Napoli.
The Italian currently earns 5 million per year and Napoli value him at 70 million euros, a fee that only the top European clubs can afford. Sky have also reported that Arsenal and Bayern Munich are also interested in signing Insigne.
The reason that an exchange between Icardi and Napoli cannot be excluded is because both of these player’s market values are at the moment, the same.
