Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic will face a fine for their heated exchange during the Coppa Italia match between Inter vs. AC Milan.
Lukaku claimed he was the subject of racist insults. He said the Swede referred to “voodoo stuff” towards his mother.
However the Swedish forward denied using racist language during the spat.
According to the investigation by the Italian FA, Racist slurs were not used by the players. Meanwhile, they did find both players guilty of unsportsmanlike conduct.
Both players exchanged insults for quite a while and had to be restrained by their team-mates as they attempted to confront each other.
Ibrahimovic was sent off after picking up a second yellow card after the break, while Lukaku leveled with a penalty.
Christian Eriksen struck an unbelievable stoppage-time winner for Inter to send them through with a 2-1 win.
