The Italian defender Andrea Ranocchia was interviewed by Inter in which he spoke about the derby, the upcoming fixture and the fans support:
“Derby? Fundamental victory, gave us a big push towards our next goals. Winning the derby is always special. After the Europa League we had to give an answer: win and win well. We did it, it was what we needed. Now we are concentrating on preparing for the match against Lazio, who are our direct competitor for a place in the Champions League. We know it will be a difficult game to face, but we will be ready to win. Fans support? I don’t remember a single game which the fans failed to support the team, they are a source of pride.”
