Anthony & Samer join forces to bring you the latest #PlayerRatings on the back of huge DERBY WIN!

Samir Handanovic – 7.5: Saved Inter on multiple occasions. Proves why he deserves the captaincy – leader!

Kwadwo Asamoah – 6.5: Ran up and down the field and marked Suso who was not a threat

Milan Skriniar – 7: Piatek who? Emptied him out of his pocket after the match

Stefan de Vrij – 7.5: Solid defending and communication between him and Skriniar! The WALL is REAL…and let’s face it, his 2nd goal set us on the way.

Danilo D’ambrosio – 7: One of his best performances this season! Attacked and defended well, saved us in the dying minutes with a crucial block!

Matias Vecino – 8: This is the Vecino we want to see! Ran the midfield and made Kessie and Bakayoko look non-existent! Steps up in big games, important goal.

Roberto Gagliardini – 7: Not sure he was even beaten once in the midfield. A completely transformed Roberto! Class!

Marcelo Brozovic – 6.5: Was not his usual self due to fitness but was moving the tempo pretty well. Strung class passes and ran his socks off.

Matteo Politano – 8: Was Milan’s biggest threat! Attacked, cut inside, crosses, defended – he was everywhere! Man of the match potential!

Ivan Perisic – 7: Glimpses of last year’s Perisic tonight! Fought for every ball and linked up well with Asamoah and Lautaro.

Lautaro Martinez – 8.5: Clinical, modern striker! One goal and an assist, his most important match so far. Stepped up in the penalty!

Antonio Candreva – N/A: 90th min cameo.

Andrea Ranocchia – N/A: 90th min cameo.

Borja Valero – 6: Not much to do but held his own and was calm on the ball.

Luciano Spalletti – 6.5: You know what, he can take a 6.5 for not deploying a double pivot midfield again. Other than that, this derby was won on passion, not tactics.
