Anthony takes you through the ratings of #INTERatalanta in a match that saw Inter avoid what would have been a horrid result. A draw was the minimum requirement and we can once again thank the relative weakness of Seria A.
Handanovic – 6 – Nothing to do, with no shots faced on target
Asamoah – 6.5 – Looked good going forward but left huge holes at the back at times. Crossing is inconsistent.
Skriniar – 6.5 – Illicic worried him a few times on and off the ball but still showed his class in another good performance.
Miranda – 6.5 – Another good showing from Miranda as he looks to depart the club on a positive note both on & off the pitch
D’Ambrosio – 6 – Was a little disorganised but grew into the game and held his own.
Gagliardini – 5.5 – Bit of a hangover from his heroic efforts in Genoa, but he did cover well for Asamoah at times.
Brozovic – N/A – Subbed in the 20th minute due to a hamstring injury. We are hoping it is not serious.
Vecino – 6 – Looks better when he is more advanced and got in behind Atalanta’s defence a couple of times. Was a ghost when he returned to playing deeper after Brozovic was subbed.
Nainggolan – 6 – Still looks nowhere near fit. Came in early and mad some half decent runs and almost scored.
Politano – 6.5 – Was sharp from the beginning but looked absolutely exhausted in the 2nd half. Rightfully subbed.
Perisic – 5.5 – Nothing really came off for him today. Woeful.
Icardi – 5.5 – Missed a glorious chance, he won’t be happy and neither will the majority of the fans. Sigh.
