Just a few hours after the win in Europa League, Inter confirm Alexis Sanchez will stay at Inter. Manchester United have also communicated it officially.
The player signs a contract until 2023. The best part is the player is a free transfer and will manage to finish the season. This comes after a first season on loan where he has initially struggled with injuries, but shown his potential in the second part of the season.
This free transfer has been possible thanks to the player and his former club reaching an agreement to mutually terminate their contract. This means Manchester United has saved a sum of more or less 60 million euros between salary and taxes. This also means technically Sanchez has joined as a free agent. Essentially this transfer has made all three parties involved happy.
Sanchez will earn 7 million per year until 2023 at Inter.
