Lukaku and Handanovic to miss the second leg of the Derby d’Italia Coppa Italia semifinal. That is the official decision of The Sporting Justice in Italy. Juan Cuadrado from Juventus will also miss the game, receiving a three-match ban.

Romelu Lukaku and Samir Handanovic will miss the second leg of the Coppa Italia semifinal after receiving a one-match ban. The Inter goalkeeper will also have to pay a €10,000 fine. That is the official decision after the chaotic scenes in the Derby d’Italia earlier this week.

Lukaku was involved in a huge scandal after being the victim of racial abuse by Juventus fans before, during, and after scoring the crucial penalty to secure a 1-1 draw in the fixture. The Belgian forward received a second yellow card for his gesture toward the fans after scoring the penalty. It seems unlikely that Inter will appeal the decision so Lukaku will have to miss the second leg in Milan.

After the end of the game, Inter captain Samir Handanovic got into a fight with Juventus player Juan Cuadrado. Both received straight red cards for the incident. The Slovenian is therefore also banned for the second leg. In addition, he received a €10,000 fine. Juan Cuadrado receives an even more serious ban. The Colombian will miss three fixtures instead of one for attempting to punch Handanovic during the incident.

The last individual to be punished after the fixture is Inter Assistant Sporting Director Dario Baccin. He received a €20,000 fine for confronting referee Davide Massa after the game.
