BREAKING - Inter agree to sign Felipe Caicedo on loan

Last details solved, it is now official: Caicedo is a new Inter player. He arrives in Milan on a free loan for six months. The Ecuadorean forward will join the team tomorrow according to Fabrizio Romano:

“Felipe Caicedo has successfully completed his medical today morning and he’s gonna be announced as new Inter backup striker until June. Done deal, confirmed. Meanwhile Stefano Sensi will leave Inter in the next hours to join Sampdoria on straight loan.”

Caicedo will  reunite with the man who revitalised his playing career, Simone Inzaghi. Under the guidance of the coach from Piacenza he scored 25 goals in the last four seasons, many of them decisive and in the final minutes.

In the hierarchy of the team, he is in fact the fifth striker available, but given the many competitions of the Nerazzurri, his contribution will be essential.

Stefano Sensi, on the other hand, will be departing Inter on loan to Sampdoria. The Italian midfielder has had trouble staying fit under Conte and now Inzaghi. He will leave on a dry loan spell to the city of Genoa until the end of the season.

Under Inzaghi this season, Sensi has played only 12 matches and scoring once in the Coppa Italia. Whether Inter plan to keep the midfielder after the loan spell or sell him is yet to be clear. But one thing is certain, this could be a great experience for Sensi as he could attempt to find himself again under a new club with former teammates.
