The Sporting Court of Appeals officially rejected Inter Milan’s appeal for a default 3-0 win versus Bologna. The fixture, which was part of Round 20, was supposed to take place on January 6. Unfortunately, due to a COVID outbreak in the home team’s squad, the local health authority blocked Bologna from competing.
It is still unclear when the game will be rescheduled. What is certain is that it will not take place before the return leg versus Liverpool. The outcome of the clash versus the English side will be taken into consideration regarding possible future games for Inter in the Champions League. That means we will probably not know the new date for Bologna-Inter in the next few weeks.
