Former Inter coach Jose Mourinho was interviewed after his sides loss to Inter. Since Roma no longer have to face any of the top teams, Jose will be cheering for Inter.

In the interview, Mourinho touched on the match itself and also the result which went in Inter’s favour.

“First and foremost, it was Inter’s quality. They are the strongest squad in the league with players that are great in all aspects: tactically, technically and physically. I would even add that, meant in the right way, they have a lot of ‘animals’ in their squad. They are very strong.”

Later in the interview, Mourinho was asked if he had to lose, would he prefer that it was Inter.

“I love Inter and Inter love me, but I want to win every game. Now that we do not have to play against either Inter or Milan or Juve or Napoli again this season, then I can say that obviously I would be happy if Inter win the Scudetto.

“But before the game I want to win and I forget where I have been before. I love Inter but I love Roma and I love my job now. We get paid to win.”

Even though Jose hasn’t been the coach for Inter in a decade, he still has a massive place in all Interisti hearts. That treble side back in 2010 will go down as the most successful Italian team in history and Jose was definitely a massive reason for that.

We will always love you, Jose!
