Another edition of Mercato Live Transfer Talk with Inter Worldwide. Nassim will try to summarize the latest rumors for you.
The Dzeko and Kolarov case
Entering the last year of their contract with the Roman side, the 33 year olds Aleksander Kolarov and Edin Dzeko who is valued at around 13M are both said to be profiles that draw the interest of the newly appointed Inter coach Antonio Conte.
While the main interest would be Dzeko, Kolarov could be part of the deal seeing the two Giallorossi switch to Nerazzuri. According to Corriere Dello Sport, AS Roma would ideally opt for a deal including a sum around 10M and one of Inter’s youngsters. Namely, Ionut Radu, the 22 year old goalkeeper who spent a promising season at Genoa and Sebastiano Esposito who is one of the forwards of the U-20 Italian squad.
Having underestimated Nicolo Zaniolo last summer, Inter are still hesitating to let go of their young talents.
Negotiations stalling.
Sporting’s Bruno Fernandes in, Joao Mario out?
Who is Bruno Fernandes?
Portuguese midfielder, 24 year old, recently crowned champion of the UEFA Nation League and an integral part of what his national team has recently achieved.
Moreover, Bruno Fernandes isn’t unproven in Serie A. In fact, the Portuguese midfielder has already played for sides like Novara, Udinise or even Sampdoria before joining Sporting CP for a fee of 10M in 2017.
Today and two years later, Bruno is valued at around 50M. Why?
Here are some numbers for you:
In his 52 appearances, he has managed to score no less than 32 goals and give 18 assists.
With Manchester United and Tottenham reportedly following the player, Inter joins the race and has an idea on how to bring the midfielder to Milan.
According to Sport Mediaset, using Joao Mario who doesn’t seem to be part of Conte‘s plan, Inter will try to lower Bruno Fernandes‘ price tag by including his fellow portuguese in the deal. A deal that might suit all parts and ensure Sporting CP of a replacement in case they decide to part ways with Fernandes.
