According to TyC Sports, Inter’s captain Mauro Icardi will not sign a new contract with the club.
Icardi’s agent and wife Wanda Icardi told Inter that her husband will not sign a contract extension, which expires in 2021.
Although, Icardi has showed his loyalty and commitment to Inter, the deal seems to be “very far away” according to Wanda. It is understood that Inter and Wanda have had bad experiences in previous contract signings and now things have turned to the worse.
The Argentine Press expects there to be a three-way challenge between Real Madrid, Chelsea and Juventus for his signature.
