Match Facts:
Tricky games this week for Inter, against one of the revelation of this Serie A season. Parma is coming from a last minute draw against the unbeatable Juventus, and this will give them that extra boost of confidence that we so much need. Their coach, D’Aversa, is playing a nice and entertaining football, able to combine young and talented prospects with experienced veterans. Their 4-3-3 is nothing revolutionary, they prefer to play the ball to the ground and occasionally launch it to Inglese, skipping the midfield. Inglese can then use the speed and creativity of the two wings to run the flank and wait for the right cross. Biabiany and Gervinho at the same time can just slalon through the opposition and try a more solitary solution. The work of the full-backs will be crucial in this game, especially in the execution of the “diagonali”. D’Ambrosio showed all his limitations with this in his past, we will find out what Soares can do.
Stats
With Vrsaljko out for the rest of the season, Borja Valero still recovering, Politano has one more match of suspension and Keita Balde coming back from his injury, Inter 11 should see Nainngolan and Perisic on the pitch, with Icardi and Candreva to complete the attack. Gagliardini and Brozovic in the middle and 4 in the back-line: Asamoah, Skriniar, De Vrij and D’Ambrosio (with Miranda and Soares ready to sub these last 2 players).
Spalletti and Gervinho had a brief period of coexistence in Rome, 14 days while Gervinho learned to “hate” the coach and ask for an immediate transfer in China. Few years later, he could be the reason for a possible sack of his old “enemy”.
