Inter will face Juventus at home to decide who’ll win their first trophy of the season – SuperCoppa Italiana.
The Nerazzurri have been on a splendid run of form with 8 successive victories in the league. Juventus on the other hand have had an inconsistent season thus year. Although, Allegri looks to have patched up any major issues as they’ve now gone 7 games unbeaten.
As we know, it’s a one-off cup match where form is thrown out the window. Especially since it’s a derby match too where usually the most hungry team on the day gets the result.
In the past Inzaghi has won this trophy twice, where on the other hand Allegri has won this trophy three times. So it’ll be a pretty even fight with coaching experience in this type of match.
Predicted lineups and team news –
Inzaghi has the complete choice of players as Inter are at full strength. There are no suspensions or injuries to note for Inter, but the same can’t be said for Juventus. There’ll be multiple players who Allegri is unable to call for the match.
The likes of De Ligt and Cuadrado are out through suspension. While Chiesa seriously injured his knee in the match to Roma so he’ll be unavailable for a very long time.
Inter: 3-5-2
Handanovic
Skriniar – Bastoni – De Vrij
Dumfries – Barella – Brozovic – Calhanoglu – Perisic

Juventus: 4-3-3

The two sides faced each other earlier this year in Serie A, with the game ending in a 1-1 draw.

Juventus’ form guide in Serie A: D-W-W-D-W
Score prediction –
Although on paper Inter should win this game comfortably, we know that games are won on the pitch. It’ll be a tougher match than many predict but I still believe Inter will get their first trophy.
With so many players out for Juventus, the strength of this Inter team should prevail.
Inter 2-0.
As always, Forza Inter!
