Marrota and co renewal are Great News!
This new is something almost every Inter fan have been waiting in the last months. Especially Don Beppe Marotta has had a huge positive impact in the club since he arrived in January 2019. Since then Inter started a clear path of growth financially and sporting wise. Although the financial part was truly affected by Covid-19, the club still managed to maintain sustainable and part of it is because of Marotta’s magic.
Recent Success
Right after Beppe arrival, Inter started cleaning the team from bad influences. That was the case of the ex-captain Mauro Icardi and Radja Nainggolan. Then he hired Antonio Conte, one of the best Italian coaches in the market. With him Inter reached UEL final and ended second in the league in his first season. In 2020/2021 the nerozzurri finally became champions of Italy after 11 years of drought.
Then during the recent summer crisis caused by Conte’s resign, Marotta managed to solve the problem as quick as possible and convinced Simone Inzaghi to enter the project. Until now Inzaghi has achieved amazing stats and a trophy against Inter arch rivals Juventus in Supercoppa. Also Inzaghi managed to put Inter in the round of 16 of UCL after 10 years, we have qualified to Coppa Italia semifinals and we are still in pole position to win our second scudetto in a row. Great achievements for a first season.
Marotta and Ausilio Building a strong squad
Alongside Marotta, Ausilio and Baccin have been working a lot trying to build a strong squad for Inter with limited resources. In these last three years we have acquired big names like: Bastoni, Barella, Sensi, Alexis, Vidal, Hakimi, Eriksen, Lukaku, Dzeko, Correa, Hakan, Dumfries, Onana and Gosens.
Some of them had to go because of financial issues in last summer but still we have one of the most competitive squads in Italy. Now there is also a plan to renew key players like Skriniar, Brozovic and Perisic. Finally, Beppe the magician and co are making plans for next summer were names as Dybala, Scamacca, Fratessi and Bremer are sounding loud.
There is no doubt. Marotta and co renewal is the best notice interisti have received in 2022. In some grade it cool us down after the recent heartbreaking defeat. As always Forza Inter!
