Italy coach Roberto Mancini has released his list of the 30 players called up for the 2024 European Championships qualifying matches against England and Malta scheduled for March 23rd and the 26th. There are several new faces overall and one happy return. Matteo Darmian, who returns to wear the Azzurri shirt six years after his last match for Italy, the November 13th, 2017 debacle against Sweden in Milan, which resulted in the failure to qualify for the World Cup in Russia. Joining Darmian are three other Nerazzurri teammates, Francesco Acerbi, Federico Dimarco and Nicolò Barella.
