Sanchez brace gives Inter 6 point gap.

As Inter make it 6 wins in a row, a 6 point gap at the top has opened up. A fantastic double from Sanchez gave Inter the win over Parma.

With Milan drawing to Udinese, it was an incredible away victory for Inter against Parma. Not the most clinical of performances,  but albeit 3 points taken.

Let’s dive into some of the key points from tonight –

El Niño Maravilla –

An incredible performance from the man nicknamed “The Wonderkid”. A brace from Sanchez was exactly what the Chilean deserved.

Running non-stop all match, Sanchez took his chances when on offer. A phenomenal assist from Lukaku put the ball on a silver platter for Sanchez, as he was brilliant enough to bury it home.

I feel that Sanchez has been working towards a performance like this his whole Inter career, so it was great to see this come to fruition.

Conte ball paying dividends –

We have all questioned Conte’s tactics at some point in his Inter management. Earlier in the season when Inter bombed out of Champions League, the writing was on the wall.

We thought Conte’s time was up and deservedly so.

Since that moment, Inter have gone on a mesmerizing run with victory in 12 out of 15 matches. With this, taking 38 out of 45 points possible in the league. The year Inter is having is insane, and this can be put down to Conte’s ability as coach.

If this is Conte’s last year, then it will be a memorable one as Inter’s attacking play is unmatched in Serie A.

Where to next?

Inter are back at home to face the second best attacking team in the league – Atalanta.

The average for this fixture is usually 2.86 total goals scored, however over the past two season we have seen 2 goals or less scored in matches.

Inter will be aiming to put the nail in the coffin as this could be the decisive weekend for the title race.

Prediction – Inter 2-1

As always Forza Inter!
