After a match to forget for the Nerazzuri side against Cagliari, Lautaro Martinez made post-match declarations to the microphones of Sky Sport Italia.
“We didn’t win today, but I think we played very well in the second half. We created plenty of chances and Alessio Cragno was excellent in goal for Cagliari,”
“We dropped points again and have to do more, make fewer mistakes and keep taking it one game at a time. The Europa League is a big objective for us, so we need to focus on Eintracht Frankfurt to put in a strong performance, only then can we think about SPAL.”
Mauro Icardi’s absence have allowed Lautaro Martinez to start no less than 5 consecutive matches. In which Lautaro has scored twice. When asked about the Icardi situation, Lautaro said:
“Mauro is very important for us, but we can’t do anything about it, so it’s up to him to resolve his problems. All we can do is wait and try to win.”
