Lautaro was interviewed by Inter TV after his Man of the Match performance against Cremonese which earned Inter the victory.
“These are three points that weigh heavily because we came from a defeat. We worked hard and managed to get this victory even with difficulty, but I think that until the end of the season all the matches will be like this.
“We must be ready to wage war. I hope to score as many goals as possible. if I reach my maximum it means that I have given everything to the team and this leaves me calm. My goal is to bring Inter to the top and lend a hand to my teammates, staff and fans.
“Wearing the Inter captain’s armband today was an honour for me. We’re racing against us because we’ve lost so many points: we have to recover and not look up.
“We entered the field 13 points behind, now we have shortened, but Napoli play tomorrow and we just have to think about our game, improve every day and move forward.
“Before next week’s derby we have Atalanta and we need to recover energy because they play special football. We’ll have to fight in that match too, because the Coppa Italia is a competition that can give you another final like the one we won with Milan.”
It was great to see that life goes on without Skriniar. Moving forward, Lautaro will be the perfect captain.
